Free Font Site
www.1001freefonts.com/ <-- this is the site i was talking about.
Nicole check this out I think you will find some fonts you might really like... potentially for the mural?
If you find any that you think might be appropriate save them to a folder on your computer and brign it in on a flash tomorrow... We'll make it work.

I have always been interested in abstracting my photographic images. However, in the beginning of the year I was shown several works by graphic artists that created diptychs that were incredibly subtle but had an underlying message. Those images resonated with me and impacted the direction of my work. In my concentration I explored how combining multiple images into one could help to create a more complete graphic statement. I found this an excellent way to keep my work mysterious while expressing thoughts that are difficult to put in words.
In the beginning I primarily looked to abstract my work through extreme zooming. For example #1 is a diptych of two images displayed side by side. The image on the left is taken in a bird’s eye view and the right image is taken in a dog’s eye view. I did this in order to create a clearer picture of an otherwise abstracted subject. While I liked the effect I didn’t feel the diptychs a complete enough statement so in #3 I began to overlap my images and started manipulating transparencies, displaying key elements of both images simultaneously. With #6 I reflected the same image multiple times to create a graphic symmetrical image. After creating those pieces I became concerned with I wanted to use the shapes and color to create a mood that relates to the initial moment it was photographed. In #7 I started exploring ways I could make two different pictures relate to each other. I wanted to get the feeling of “waiting” through that piece. While in #8 I fragmented my photographs to recreate the feeling of a man isolated from his surroundings. The man is completely grey and is contrasted with a bright saturated background creating a disconnected feeling. In #10 I wanted to make a very interesting portrait that is original. I took a picture of my friend with my teacher holding a fake candle and moving it using a slow shutter of my camera and having an impressing effect to it.I also took 3 different pictures with three different angles and light source. I had a mirror next to her to have her face reflected and also have the light seen through it. #11 i wanted to do something different. With the original image of my two subjects I saw this tension and this relationship between them but the original image didn’t feel like it was right. I needed a different and weird background to make the relationship between them look even more interesting. I chose the background that i have because i loved the contrast between land and water. I wanted to try it out with the both of them and ended up working out. I had to relate them both to the background in some way because they looked a little yellow-ish, so I edited their color and made it feel neutral and more relating to the background.
PS.
the first paragraph is too long.. 53 long characters long.. 500 is the limit.. waahh!X/
